Futuristic mechshop atmosphere created inside flstudio with filtered white noise generators, flstudio wasp, pitch envelopes, channel gain automation plus lashings of reverb for effect. Each one of the nonsensical announcements at the start are entirely synthetic. They're text to speech, done on-the-fly, with pre-fader pitch modulation embedded in automation track. No synths were harmed in the making of this cacophany.
Here's the sound when danny phantom is going ghost! i'm told it also resembles the sound effect in the yu yu hakasho opening. The sound is just two white noise whooshes on top of each other, one descending in pitch and one with a little more resonance ascending in pitch. Made in hybrid3.
This is my voice recorded on my akg c-214 condenser microphone. In adobe audition i used effects>time and pitch>stretch and pitch (process), changing stretch to 83. 21% and semitones to 3. 58 to achieve a close approximation to the minions.
*un-used asset from project*. There are 4 of the same "sample" at different pitches are "random" granular position and spacing so each one is a little different besides pitch.
Recreating the pitch shift used by pink floyd in echos. Inspired by taking the now retro echophonto its extreme flange edge and tweaking. . . Rendered in reaper with markers at 48 khz 32 bit fp for the beloved morphagene fans out there. Go back in time and enjoy!.
This is some small patterns i made and mixed basic filters time pitch all accross and finally put some bells with a very very short programmed arpeggiator. You will not hear the arpeggiator over all the other effects ;).
Traditional Pythagorean tuning of the diatonic tetrachord. Created by Hyacinth (talk) using Sibelius 5. MIDI pitch bend appears to match intervals (0,64, 96,62, 64,61, and 80,64).
Cool sound produced by pitch shifting down with time stretch x4 and reversing a section from the end of the third movement of beethoven's symphony #14.
5 min recording. Question. Do you hear any form of repetitiv pattern?the "engine" for this. . . Is a feedback patch. Chaotic? maybe. The colors the soundfile get here on freesound reveals patterns. I use this feedback patch to derive timing and pitch. I restrain the pitch. It's bad enough as it is. The feedback patch is made with 2 lfos, 1 vclfo and a vcad.
The sound is a mic going to a boss me-30 on pitch shifter setting, to various other effects, and then to a boss dd-20 in sound on sound mode, then to an alesis nanoverb. All the sounds are my voice being effected/looped by the pedals. The beginning part is a cough with another vocal sound layered which sounds similar to a violin. . . Recorded direct to sound card.
Ambient noise created with the melda noise genertor vst plugin, the melda auto pitch vst plugin and the illformed glitch vst plugin. Loopable and suitable for background treatments.
*"Semitone" in the Bohlen-Pierce scale on C = Db to D or Bb to B. Just: 625/567 = 168.61 cents. Limit: 7-limit. MIDI pitch bend: 122,53 Title refers to number of semitones (unison=0).

This is a recording of a chainsaw engine running. I have slowed the speed and lowered the pitch and emphasised the bass. I have looped the track so it can be constantly running in the background if needed.
You know that high pitch beep you hear after something super loud, like an explosion? here's a five second effort to reproduce that sound. It fades out towards the end like the person either comes back to themselves or passes out. There's probably some on freesound already but i couldn't find them so i just made my own in audacity.
